When you advertise a business for sale we need to know your name, e-mail address, details of the business for sale to display as the text of your advert, photo, and payment details. This allows us to process and fulfill your order. You are free to disclose as much or as little about your business as you choose. It is at your discretion if your name or phone number will appear on your business listing. No email address will be shown. All email addresses are via a blind e-mail system.

Maintaining your privacy is important to us. That's why your actual e-mail address will never knowingly be revealed to anyone using the bsab.com.au service, or added to a mailing list. All responses you receive through Buy Sell A Business are done "blindly," where the responder is not given your actual e-mail address.

We use the information collected from you to process your order and to display your advertisement. We may use your personal information to communicate with you and for record keeping purposes.

We will contact you automatically by the email responder with the details of interested parties who have found your advertisement on our website and who have expressed a wish to contact you about acquiring your business. We may also contact you ourselves from time to time on behalf of organizations that are interested in speaking to vendors of businesses.

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others nor would we disclose to a third party the fact that your business has been advertised for sale, other than displaying your advertisement on our website.

Buyers

What information do we collect?

When you contact a seller (including sellers' agents, franchisors and business opportunity providers), we ask for your name, e-mail address and your address and phone number.

When you place an add wanting to buy which is free we require the information on what you are interested in purchasing, and your contact information. All email addresses are via a blind e-mail system.
